Let's Talk Cups

Let's talk cups. I'm shooting past Christmas and going to spring events and fundraisers using normal stadium cups or the super-fun LED light cups. beer glasses, wine glasses, and other drinkware all have their place as well, but for this blog, we will focus on durable drinkware.

Fundraisers: sure you could sell popcorn in a paper bag - but that's no fun. People are in it for what they get out of it - no matter the price point you set. You can buy a $.50 cup, put $.10 popcorn in it and sell popcorn cup for $2 rather than $.50 = $1.40 in profit. Multiply that by 250 people buying your popcorn at the mall and you just made $350 for your fundraiser with an hour of work. You sold them something tangible, for a purpose, at a good price. Good job! Works with ice cream sundaes and anything else you can put in a cup (a bit of a higher price point, but you can show off the color changing cup which is desirable).

Weddings: Light-up flashy cups with the wedding logo have become an absolute hit among guests. Not only can they drink out of these vibrant cups, but they also contribute to the electrifying dance mood at night. The mesmerizing lights that emanate from these cups create an enchanting atmosphere, making everyone feel like they are part of something truly special. The best part is, these cups are just plain fun! Guests cannot resist the temptation to twirl and dance with them, adding an extra element of joy to the celebration. And when the night comes to an end, guests take these cups home as cherished mementos, allowing them to remember your extraordinary day for a long time to come.

The classic frosted cup isn't lost though. With an elegant font and a striped straw, you can make your signature cocktails stand out and leave guests with a loving memory to take home. At the end of the night, have rinse station and a water station so they rehydrate on their way home.

Tradeshows: SOOOOOO When it comes to tradeshows, I strongly discourage the use of basic stadium cups unless they are being utilized to hold promotional items. Tradeshows often host happy hours and it would be more advisable to use a branded disposable cup or even go all out with a light-up beer mug. These unique and eye-catching alternatives are sure to be a hit among attendees. It is important to be strategic with your marketing budget when it comes to tradeshow swag, and investing in basic cups without a clear purpose is not a wise decision.

Spirit- Wear: Using cups to promote school spirit or fun events is the most obvious use. I can't tell you how many we have at our house, because we love to use them. We take pride in the logos on the cup and the memories that logo brings with it. Don't go lower than a 16oz cup - and go to 20oz if you dare - because my FAVORITE use of these stadium cups is actually cereal and ice cream. If you really want to get fancy, go for a hyper-color changing cup.

The PARTY Cup: Take your old-school solo cup and make it renewable with a 16oz double wall insulated cup. When I think of tailgate parties or company picnics, I envision a lively and festive atmosphere filled with laughter, delicious food, and refreshing beverages. To truly make these events stand out, investing in high-quality cups is a must. While they may cost a bit more than the ordinary stadium cups, they are designed to impress your crew and elevate the overall experience. These cups go the extra mile with their durability, functionality, and eye-catching designs, ensuring that your guests feel valued and appreciated. From their sturdy construction to their ability to keep drinks cold, these cups are sure to leave a lasting impression and enhance the enjoyment of any tailgate or picnic gathering.
